What the letters mean
Attacks are ordered by the job they do in a wave: sustained crowds first, splash second, coordinated strikes after the squad can cover the road. Aircraft are ordered by how clearly they are available for that air-support job. The AC-130 and VTOL jet are new and the developer still calls the gunship unfinished.
Which [UPDATE] Zombie Air Force ✈️ boards are on this hub?
Two jobs, two lists. Open a child page for the long table. This hub is the snapshot.
S tier
Player decision Start here until you can hold a road and a titan part. Switch airframes for a role, not for novelty.
Player decision Make this the first attack you can repeat. Move on only when heat management is boring and clumps are surviving.
A tier
Player decision Add rockets when your chain-gun pass is stable and shielded or bunched targets are the problem.
Player decision Pick it when you want door gunners. Confirm whether your account already has it before paying.
Player decision Call the target and the horde owner before you make air strikes your next practice goal.
Player decision Buy or select it for the jet job you want. Do not expect the tree to arrive with the unlock. The free VTOL variant is a different October option.
Player decision Try it after you can already clear a section in the Apache. Do not spend a stockpile on it until you have flown it once and the developer has had a balance pass.
B tier
Player decision Learn it only after you have a reason to crew the Little Bird. Do not buy access just to tick this box.
Player decision Use it when you want the VTOL flight model more than peak firepower. Switch back if the section punishes the lost turn rate.
C tier
Player decision Use it for a called weak point. Do not make it the weapon that clears the road.
Player decision Leave it until the chain gun and rockets have jobs. Revisit it if a close, narrow target shows up in your own flights.
