First flight: one attack and one purchase

Finish the tutorial, fly one chain-gun job on the Apache, answer the objective banners, and leave with a single Credit purchase in mind.

What the first session is for

Zombie Air Force puts you in an aircraft over a wave battlefield. You strafe zombies, drop defenses for the line, and deal with giant Behemoths while the squad pushes a frontline section. The experience launched on September 24, 2026, and the description still marks it Alpha.

Leave the first session able to name two things: the attack you practiced, and the Credit purchase that attack is supposed to improve.

Before you deploy

  1. Launch the experience and finish the short tutorial. The Store code field is reported to stay unavailable until that tutorial is done.
  2. If you want the listed group bonus, join fresh green beans before the session. The description says the group gives +10% XP and Credits.
  3. Open Store on the left only if you are redeeming a code. Paste one code, read the result, then go fly. Code steps are on the Codes page.
  4. At the flight line, pick an aircraft and deploy. Published footage shows the Apache, with the M230 chain gun and Hydra rocket pods, as the aircraft used for ordinary sorties.

Practice one attack

Each aircraft is described with a primary gun, rockets, a sniper, and a shotgun. For the first flight, use the chain gun on packed groups and leave the other slots alone.

The M230 fires continuously and overheats. A Hot Barrels gauge tracks that heat. Hydra rockets are unguided volleys with splash, which published coverage recommends for dense clumps and shielded enemies. Adding them is a second lesson, not the first minute.

Stay close enough to a spawn pack that the reticle stays on the group. Gameplay coverage reports that Credits and EXP follow how many enemies you defeat, not how difficult each one is, so a steady burst into a crowd is the useful first habit.

Watch the banners

The match talks to you in objective text. Reported banners include CLOSE AIR SUPPORT, FLYERS INBOUND, ROAD CLEAR, and SECTION 1 CLEARED. TUNNELLERS means zombies are digging toward the core. FOB OVERRUN means the defended position is in trouble. Those two are reasons to look at the ground even if a large target is on screen.

Give the Credits a job

Kills pay Credits. The developer says those Credits unlock more than 180 upgrades. After the flight, open the tree for the weapon you actually used. Chain-gun nodes reported from the Armoury include Hot Barrel, Linked Belts, Twin Feed, Gatling Conversion, and HE-Frag Rounds. Buy one of those only after you read the price on screen.

A respec option is reported, so a purchase is not described as permanent, but the respec cost is not published. Keep a reserve if the price would wipe out the next purchase you already planned.

What changed in October

The October 16, 2026 experience update and the developer post add an AC-130 gunship, a free VTOL jet variant, ground vehicles, infantry mode in beta, and a Warbond track that earns merits. The developer says older content did not get a full balance pass. Treat any price or damage impression from earlier footage as something to re-read in the current Armoury.

Done when

You can say which attack you repeated, which banner you answered, and which single upgrade you will check next. Then read the defense placement guide or the titan priority guide, depending on whether the ground line or a large enemy was the thing you lost track of.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Zombie Air Force still in Alpha?

Yes. The experience description still says Alpha and tells players to expect bugs and imperfection. The developer, kobra, has also said the newest infantry, vehicles, and gunship work is early and may be too weak, too strong, or too grindy.

How many players are in one server?

The Roblox listing shows a server size of 10. It is a co-op PvE shooter: aircraft, dropped defenses, and allied ground pressure against zombie hordes and giant Behemoths.

Which codes does the developer currently name?

The current description names 1MIL, 2MIL, and TYFORPLAYING as free gifts in the Store. A developer group post adds AC130 for a gift and does not list the contents. Older codes such as LITTLEBIRD, THANKYOU, and FREE12 are still reported by some October 16 lists, but the live description no longer names them. SORRY, GEMDROP, and RELEASE have expiry reports.

Where are official announcements posted?

Join the fresh green beans Roblox group. The listing says members get +10% XP and Credits. A public write-up of the codes page says there is no separate Discord or Trello to follow, and no working invite for either was confirmed for this game.

What are Credits, Medals, merits, and Honors for?

Credits buy aircraft, weapon, and defense upgrades. The developer says there are more than 180 upgrades. Medals show up in reported code rewards and on the Bounty Board. The October update adds merits earned through wars for a Warbond-style track. Honors is named only as something the Grimhawk access description says you do not need.
